Anais Tori aka @anaistori was born and raised in Monaco and is now living as a free-spirited travel and lifestyle influencer and content creator in Los Angeles.
Traveling to wonderful and amazing places like Kailua, Oahu, Waikiki and Waimanalo stole her heart on many levels.
We had the pleasure of asking her a few questions, and an interview with interesting ideas came out.
What’s your favorite place so far?
So hard to pick one. South America stole my heart! I spent 7-month backpacking alone in South America in 2017 and it was a dream. If I had to pick one place, it would probably be Patagonia. (shared by Chile & Argentina)
What place is the top of your bucket list?
A secret spot in Indonesia I’ve been dreaming of for the last 5 years. Going in 2020 so stay tuned!
What can’t you travel without?
My camera! I love photography and capturing moments, sceneries, portraits, etc!
Do you prefer solo travel or with someone else?
I love traveling alone because I get to meet way more people than when I’m not traveling alone, but being able to share breathtaking moments with a friend, a significant other or a family member is priceless though!
What has been the most interesting item of food you’ve tasted?
Mie Goreng in Indonesia. I’m OBSESSED!
How many foreign words have you learned so far?
I’m French but I learned English, Spanish and Italian and I’m fluent now in these languages now… So, I guess that’s A LOT of words.
The sea – on it, in it or stay on dry land?
Definitely in it !! Love snorkeling, swimming and being on a boat!!
What’s your top travel tip?
To travel off the beaten path, to go meet locals and try to experience the “authentic” rather than the “touristy”.
Who is your dream travel companion?
Someone who doesn’t mind waking up at the crack of dawn to watch the sunrise, someone who loves adventure, culture, and people, who doesn’t mind walking for hours to hike up to a lake or a waterfall, and someone who enjoys taking photos.
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Adventurous, Spontaneous, and Open-minded.
Big thanks to this wanderluster, Anais Tori! Her travel story is dedicated to all travel lovers, adventure seekers, and dream chasers out there!
